On the 29th of June, Vintage Acquisitions was thrilled to welcome our valued clients to the historic Annandale Distillery for an exclusive cask-filling day.
Vintage Acquisitions hired the whole distillery, providing our clients with the ultimate, exclusive and V.I.P. whisky experience. We welcomed 82 clients into the distillery, with over 55 clients filling their personalised casks. The types of casks client’s filled included;
- Ex- Bourbon Buffalo Trace First Fill (200 litres)
- Ex- Bourbon Heaven Hills First Fill (200 litres)
- Ex- Bourbon Woodford Reserve First Fill (200 litres)
- Jose Cuervo Reposado Tequila First Fill (200 litres)
- Florida Rum First Fill (200 litres)
- Captain Morgan Rum First Fill (200 litres)
- Remy Martin Grande Champagne Cognac (270 litres)

We also had two limited edition Annandale X Vintage Bottlers whiskies available for those in attendance. Guests were able to fill and personalise their own bottles. Our 2018 Man of Words fully matured in a ex-Châteauneuf-du-Pape red wine cask and the 2018 Man of Swords fully matured in an ex-Oloroso Sherry Butt. The bottles will soon be available on our Vintage Bottlers website, there is a limited amount of these cask strength bottles and the whisky is absolutely amazing, be sure to pick one up!
The day was filled with private distillery tours, wood-fired pizzas, fairground games, Ceilidh band dancing, whisky cocktails, an afternoon buffet, a cover band, and an abundance of drams!

We are already planning next year’s event, but with limited cask-filling available on the day, numbers are very limited.
